Preparation

It’s important that an initial stage of preparation is completed between the client and our design team. By the end of the preparation stage, we’ll understand your company background, such as history, mission, and vision; product or service description (what is it and what does it do); company policies (what is your company’s policy on privacy, copyright, trademarks, etc…); your preferences (branding and design guidelines); the intended use of the logo (is it for stationary, website, signage, etc…); reference images of your company products and services; and contact information for all people involved in the project.

Briefing

In the logo design process, the briefing stage is one of the most important. Our graphics team takes the information collected in the preparation phase and creates a series of writings and visual components that will serve as additional inspiration and guidelines for your logo.

Our team will also provide you with a complete timeline for your unique logo design project. Although most simple logos can be designed in less than 48 hours, it’s important to consider the time needed for revisions. We usually recommend planning a two-week design period for your logo project.

Design Scope

Our graphics team will work with you to identify all possible versions of logos needed so that during the design process they can create useful mockups and simulations of how your future logo looks in a variety of use cases. In the Design Scope phase, we’ll also make any last-minute clarification to your initial design requirements and ensure that all stakeholders are in agreement with the current design goals.

Design Briefs

We will take a step-by-step approach to create your logo design. This will involve creating a simple logo using basic shapes. We will then refine our design by adding texture and color. These initial concept artboards will be sent to you for discussion.

Finally, we will refine your favorite design further by adding illustrative elements to create a more dynamic and meaningful logo. The final draft of your logo will be implemented on a variety of mockups, determined by your intended use cases. Hartmann Industries’ graphic team will present your logo package for review, comments, and ultimately approval.

Selection of a Winner

Once you are satisfied with your logo draft, our team will make any last-minute changes, ensure that all pre-determined design scopes have been met, and create a final presentation package.

Final Design Presentation

You will receive a final design package that includes all color and size variations of your logo.

• An editable, layered logo file (AI)
• A final, high-resolution JPG and PNG of the logo
• A vector EPS of the logo
• A PDF with the logo’s proper usage, color specifications, and asset information.

Final Design Formatting and Delivery

An additional benefit of Hartmann Industries’ logo design is our included formatting services. Our graphics team will create ready-to-use and optimized files to upload to your website, social media profiles, and email signatures. We will create a final package for you to download.
